As the Division VP of Trauma Services, you will be responsible for establishing the service line structure and strategic direction for 8 trauma centers (1 Level I, 2 Level II, 4 Level III) spanning 6 markets in VA, NH IN KY

Your responsibilities will include:.

  • Serving as a professional expert on trauma services to ensure the delivery of optimal quality trauma patient care
  • Providing senior strategic and operational leadership for trauma services, evaluation and planning for future trauma service line development, and other services and relationships with government and external organizations.
  • Championing all service line planning and tracking via data from corporate and division dashboards and metrics.
  • Ensuring dashboards and tracking tools measure key operational and clinical outcomes, aggregate and compare measurement of key stats across all facilities, and monitor service line P&L.
  • Produce and present reports on key performance indicators and other significant benchmarking metrics, implement plans to address variability and poor performance.
  • Assist in the development of clinical protocols that use evidence-based best practices to provide consistency in the performance of cardiovascular services across the division.
  • Defining standards of Trauma care for nursing and patient care services which promote a multidisciplinary approach to coordination

Education:
- Master's, MBA or MHA Preferred

- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, business administration or healthcare administration

Experience:

- Five (5) Years of progressive responsible business and financial leadership

- Five (5) years of hospital industry experience including strategic planning analysis and support, business development due diligence

Salary: $150K to $155K plus up to 15% bonus based upon facility performance. Full benefit package included. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified individuals.
