Oncology Registered Nurse (RN)

Responsibilities:

• Full-time, in-patient, permanent position.
• Administer standard chemotherapy and bio therapy agents.
• Prescribe, coordinate, evaluate and deliver patient care through collaborative efforts with members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Keep practices in accordance with the nursing process and standards of care and practices.
• Guide and direct patient education and family teaching for oncology procedure.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Valid RN license (Compact or State of Florida)
• Minimum: 1 year of oncology experience, Preferred: 2 years of oncology experience
• Recent experience in administering chemotherapy and bio therapy agents
• ACLS and BLS certification
• OCN/ONCC certification preferred
• Preferred: Oncology Nursing Society chemotherapy and bio therapy administration guidelines provider course.
