Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Registered Nurse to join our team full time and work a 13 week assignment at Malta Med. The RN will be working in a 24/7 walk-in clinic located in Malta, NY, conveniently located off I-87.

Currently the shift available is 7:00pm - 7:30am (36hrs per week).

Malta Med Emergent Care: provides 24/7 walk-in services to address non-life-threatening or limb-threatening injuries and illnesses when your primary care physician is not available for urgent needs such as allergic reactions, earaches, minor eye injuries, infections, fever, routine gynecological issues, pediatric illnesses, rashes and minor burns, sprains and fractures, stomach pain, vomiting, or diarrhea, urinary tract infections, and wounds and lacerations.

Our skilled providers are specifically trained to quickly identify, evaluate, treat and stabilize patients for transfer if needed. If you are in need of inpatient care, you will be transferred to [Register to View] , Albany Med, or a facility of your choice. Our campus includes a helipad, allowing for fast transit if necessary.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum two years of nursing experience in emergent/urgent care
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required
