(Archived) Director Dental Services

Seeking a Dental Director to aid the Chief Medical Officer by providing leadership in the dental clinic, and promotes and maintains patients’ health when providing dental services. Must have 3-5 years experience as a General Dentist.

Essential Functions Include:

• Ensure quality of care by assisting in the development of dental protocols, which are consistent with the characteristics and needs of patients in the practice, dental practice standard of care, and the goals and objectives of the organization
• Ensure continuity of care by reviewing the capacity and skills of the dental staff and available resources
• Aid in clinic growth and development by serving as the dental resource for the organization, helping resolve dental issues in the dental clinic
• Develop, implement and supervise dental budget by advising on major dental purchases, staffing requirements, and appropriate contract negotiations
• Review monthly financial statistics and plan expenditures within budget guidelines
• Monitor and justify all expenses
• Administer reports, documents, payroll records, statistical surveys, and other required data
• Maintain a patient caseload by devoting approximately 75% of time to patient care and approximately 25% of time to clinical management functions

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalency
• Doctor of Dentistry degree, DDS, DMD, etc.
• Highly recommended Master on Business and Administration or MHA
• Current license to practice in Arizona
