Job Description

Seeking a Permanent Per Diem Microbiology Technologist!

Details:

The Microbiology Tech will be responsible for providing the highest level or work, to ensure physicians receive the correct information to help treat and diagnose their patients. Must be able to communicate any issues. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Receiving, plating, and reading cultures in efficiently manner; maintain equipment QC and QA testing maintenance; perform other tasks and duties as assigned. This opportunity is with a network of clinics throughout Texas. The tech is expected to work 8-10 hours/week

Requirements:

Must have associate's or bachelor's degree in microbiology or related field. Must be ASCP Certified MLT or MT. Techs with MicroScan experience are preferred.
