Your Role with the Company:
Provide assessment and data collection to ensure proper admission per funding regulations
Perform client medication data entry necessary to complete admission using the Electronic Health Record as required by Program Manager/Director
Work with Case Managers to develop treatment plans
Follow doctor's orders, administer specified medication, monitor and record vital signs as needed, and maintain medical/ nursing records
Observe patients and document their responses to treatment and report out these findings to staff in daily staff via email updates
Follow administrative procedures in compliance with program policies
Provide medical documentation and medication monitoring training to staff
Join the Case Management treatment team weekly meeting
Discharge patients in accordance with established policy
Provide a proper response to client crises and emergencies as needed
Background Profile:
Bachelor Degree curriculum from an accredited institution, or equivalent combination of knowledge and experience in substance abuse
Minimum of one-year related experience
Must have the ability to perform the core functions of a substance abuse health professional
Must be able to develop a rapport with substance-abusing populations and families
Must have organizational management skills and maintain self and client discipline
