Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: The Registered Nurse protects, promotes and restores health and wellness, by practicing at the highest level of licensure; collaborates with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum; assesses and supports physical symptoms; provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families; mentors assigned team members; promotes best practices; maintains professional disposition at all times.

While this position is primarily the hours of 8a-5p, flexibility is required to potentially cover for other care teams or prompt care that see patients from 7a-6p, with the goal of maintaining 40 hours. Travel is required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: BSN within 6 years of hire date Licenses/Certifications: RN-Registered Nurse American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Providers) Experience: Graduate of an accredited RN program or OSF transfer PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: BSN Experience: 6 months experience as an RN in a healthcare environment Other skills/knowledge: Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency Other requirements/information: Ability to regularly and timely travel between various sites EOE/Minorities/Females/Vet/Disabled Job seekers will be afforded equal opportunity regardless of their race, ethnicity, veteran status or disability status.
