Here at CareerStaff Unlimited, we are currently looking to hire Long Term Acute Care Registered Nurses for full-time contract positions in both West Allis and St. Francis, WI! These passionate qualified nurses will have a strong focus on patient care and be resourceful at problem-solving and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Hourly Pay: $90
Weekly Pay: $3,240
Monthly Pay: $12,960

MORE ABOUT THE RN REGISTERED NURSE – LONG TERM ACUTE CARE (LTAC) POSITION:

1. Receive admission and/or transfers to the unit
2. Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
3. Timely and accurate documentation
4. Interpret assessments/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry
5. Promote continuous quality improvement
6. Respond to life-saving situations, using nursing standards and protocols for treatment
7. Act as a patient advocate while providing education and support to patients and their families
8. Demonstrate excellence in customer service and public relations to promote a positive professional image

JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE RN REGISTERED NURSE – LONG TERM ACUTE CARE (LTAC) POSITION:

1. 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience
2. Valid RN license in Wisconsin
3. ICU experience or Stepdown experience required
4. Basic Life support (BLS) and ACLS certification required
5. Experience with Trachs, Vents, Hemodynamics, Critical Drips, ET Tubes and Wound Care
6. Must be eligible to work in the United States
7. Must be fully Vaccinated against COVID-19
