Job Description
Position: HEDIS /Quality Reveiwer
Location: Medica Health Minnetonka
Shift: Full Time - Variable
Job Details
- Utilize tools, resources and programs to meet Medica’s regulatory, accreditation, quality needs and financial goals.
- Performs primary data collections and audits (HEDIS/Star audits).
- Documents and collects in the assigned time
- Evaluate the process of the audit and make recommendation in improvement efforts (10%)
- Assists with training of audits/data collection process
- Actively participates in the debriefing of each data collection or audit process for quality improvement in process
Requirements
- Registered Nurse - Active MN license
- Valid MN Driver’s license (minimal driving may be requested.
- Minimum years’ experience required in the field to qualify for the position: 3-5 years experience (but must have chart reviewing experience
- Customer service attitude
- Thorough tube knowledge
- Complete understanding of the order of the draw
- The ability to successfully draw the hardest of patients
- Data entry skills
