Job Description
Interim Clinical Director of Hospice
Reports To: Executive Director
Job Overview:
For this role, you need to be a registered nurse who sees the value of hospice care, be compassionate and have excellent interpersonal skills. Must be knowledgeable in caring for the terminally ill, managing personnel, providing emotional support, and educating patients and families on disease process and symptom management. The goal is to lead and manage the direct care staff to help patients maintain comfort at the end of their lives.
Skills
- Experience as hospice nurse
- Knowledge of nursing care processes and medication guidelines/side-effects
- Knowledge of the Medicare Conditions of Participation
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse
- Valid driver's license
- Access to reliable transportation
- Able to lift 50lb
- Telecommunication accessibility
