Position: DHO | Director of Hospice Operations
Location: Senatobia, MS
Shift: Full-time / Direct Hire / Permanent

Job Summary: As a Director of Hospice Operations (RN), you are entrusted with the clinical quality, operational direction and business results of our hospice team. Responsible for all aspects of hospice operations including: management and oversight of clinical processes, regulatory compliance, financial outcomes, operational procedures and the selection and development of staff. As the DHO, you are commit to fostering an environment that builds creative thinking, problem solving and empowerment. Your leadership encourages a respectful and dignified environment for our interdisciplinary team, patients and their loved ones. Job Details

  • Responsible for all aspects of hospice operations including: management and oversight of clinical processes, regulatory compliance, financial outcomes, operational procedures and the selection and development of staff.
  • As Director, will foster an environment that builds creative thinking, problem solving and empowerment.
  • Through leadership encourage a respectful and dignified environment for our interdisciplinary team, and patients
  • Also help to make moments matter for our patients and their families during their end-of-life journey.
  • Clinic team and Sales/Operations team directly report to them

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with a current MS state license: required
    • Or management level experience in Home Health/Hospice
  • Ability to participate in Medicare/Medicaid programs: required
  • Current CPR certification: required
  • CHPN certification: preferred
  • Healthcare leadership experience: required
    • 2 years of hospice leadership: preferred
  • Experience in providing services to terminally ill patients: required
  • Valid Driver's Licence and reliable automobile 24 hours a day and meets state and company regulations regarding automobile liability insurance coverage: required
  • Homecare homespace EMR: preferred
  • Must be technical savvy: required
  • Capable of maintaining regular attendance: required
