(Archived) Temporary Registered Nurse in Florida
Job Description
Are you available for a temporary contract opportunity in Florida ? For this position you will use your nursing experience to provide therapeutic and compassionate patient care. We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN ) that works well in a hospice environment.
The qualified candidate will work a 13 week contract with an amazing team of a physician and medical assistants.
Day or Night shifts available
12 hour shifts
Job Details:
- RN will be responsible for assessing patients' needs while utilizing nursing processes.
- RN will manage the patients record and ensure proper documentation
- RN will demonstrate a collaborative approach to patients' care with team members
- RN will ensure discharge needs are met
- RN will support patient's family
We cover your malpractice and pay as 1099.
We do not offer health benefits
Qualifications
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
BSN preferred but not required
Florida Nursing License
- 1 year medical surgical experience preferred or a minimum of one year Hospice hospital experience preferred
- BLS
B. Skills:
- Preferred CHPN Certification.
- Must possess ability to assess physical and psychosocial needs of patient and family.
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized, flexible, self-motivated with ability to relate to all levels of the professional medical team.
- Ability to develop and apply effective customer service skills. Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
