Job Description
We are looking for a direct-hire position.
Salary: $83,000 to $90,000
Care provided is appropriate to the age of the patients served, as defined in the scope of
service for the Nurse Epidemiologist s area of practice, to include: Neonate (Birth-4
weeks), Infant (4 weeks-1 years), Toddler (1-3 years), Pre-School (3-6 years), School Age
(6-12 years), Adolescent (12-18 years), Early Adulthood (19-45 years), Middle Adulthood
(46-60 years), Later Adulthood (Over 61 years).
* Evaluates and monitors the quality of patient care related to Infection Control.
* Demonstrates appropriate knowledge of growth and development.
* Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment needed by these patients.
* Performs hospital-wide surveillance activities.
* Initiates and participates in related patient care activities.
* Evaluates and monitors the quality of patient care related to Infection Control.
Minimum Qualifications
* Graduate of a school of nursing is required.
* Certification in Infection Control preferred.
* Minimum of two (2) years prior Infection Control experience in an acute care facility is
necessary.
* Excellent verbal and written skills are necessary.
Licensure
* Registered Nurse preferred
