THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
The Manager / Nurse Practitioner will oversee all clinical staff within this award-winning hospital’s Ambulatory Infusion Center, located in a brand-new, state-of-the-art Cancer Pavilion. This is a newly created role and you will have both administrative and clinical duties.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Promote innovation in the development and implantation of new strategies for providing cost-effective, yet high quality patient care.
• Strategic business planning and development of financial goals for department.
• Knowledgeable of latest oncology clinical outcomes, regulatory requirements and reimbursement patterns.
• Clinical duties as a Nurse Practitioner, including patient assessments, adverse drug reporting, follow-up care and providing infusion services when needed.
• Collaborate with Physicians and Hospital leadership regarding business and strategy development, as well as clinical trial implementation into the community settings.
• Oversight of clinical employees, to include RNs, MAs, and other front-line staff. This includes human resource management, financial oversight, training and development of new staff.
• Liaison between Physicians and Corporate Leadership in regard to the implantation of clinical trials within the hospitals.
• Organize fun community outreach events that will both educate their respective communities, but also show the organization as a leader in Cancer Care.
• Create a high-level culture that promotes growth and opportunity for front line staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Nurse Practitioner
• ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification
• OCN or AOCNP preferred, must obtain within 1 year of hire
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Oncology either as a RN or Nurse Practitioner, and a minimum of 1 year within the past 3 years serving in a leadership capacity within Oncology.
• Chemotherapy Infusion Services experience required
