Job Description
We are recruiting an Oncology Registered Nurse 330 bed not- for -profit Hospital.
Community Hospital affiliated with a University Healthcare System.
Nurse Residency Program
12 week Orientation
Federal Loan Repayment
Admissions, discharges, assessments, administer blood and blood products, IV’s, trach care, dressing changes, oxygen , administer medications, patient education,G- tubes, G-Tube/PEG feeding, NG, Tubes, Catheters, pulse oximetry, etc. Pre and post op,
Strong grasp of the psychological effects of cancer diagnosis and treatment. Monitoring and managing side effects from Chemotherapy.
Patient and family education.
12 hour shifts 7P-7A
Weekend and Holiday Rotation
Shift Diffs:
Evening: $2.75
Night: $3.25
Weekend/Holiday-$6.00
Must have North Carolina Registered Nurse license or Compact State eligible.
Prefer a minimum of 1 year of experience.
