RN – Med-Surg
Schedule: Full-time
Shifts: Nights (Rotating Weekends)
We are currently seeking a dedicated Med-Surg RN to join a dynamic care team focused on providing compassionate, evidence-based treatment for adult patients across a wide range of medical needs. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment and are looking to make a direct impact on recovery and wellness.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care
- Educate patients and families on medications and treatments
- Administer medications safely and accurately per physician orders
- Document care delivery and patient progress in clinical records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license or compact license (FL license required within 90 days if compact is held)
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
- Recent experience in acute care strongly preferred
- Willing to train LTAC nurses with 2–3 years of recent experience
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal skills
- Must be able to attend onsite interviews
