The Director of Operations – Surgical Services is a newly created position within the Department of Surgical Services. The incumbent will be responsible for the operations of a 12 suite Main OR, a 5 suite Outpatient Surgery Center and 5 suite Women’s Surgical Center. Supporting this position are 3 Managers and approximately 150 staff. The department averages 1000 cases/month. The Director assumes the responsibility for management, administration and operation of the Surgical Service Line and is responsible for daily department operations, maintains appropriate training and education and ensures appropriate on going supervision. In addition, this position is responsible for the planning and implementation of department budgets and program priorities and the integration and collaboration of Surgical Services throughout the campus.

Qualified candidates MUST be a RN with a Bachelor’s degree. A Master’s degree is strongly preferred. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years clinical experience in Surgical Services and a minimum of 5 years Director level managerial experience.
