Position: RN- Ambulatory Care
Location: Decatur, GA
Shift: TBD
Job Details
- Assesses and monitor patients’ through the perioperative setting
- Administers and monitors patients receiving conscious sedation, pre-operative, perioperative, and postoperative
- Assist physicians utilizing sterile technique
- Demonstrate critical thinking of patient data including status of vascular access and lab work, report changes, and make appropriate recommendations for patient care
- Operates appropriate facility equipment and technology, including but not limited to, patient monitors, defibrillators, medical recording devices, sterilizers and computers in a safe and efficient manner
- Assists with efficient utilization of medication, laboratory, inventory, supplies and equipment to achieve supply cost goals
Requirements
- High School Diploma required; Associate’s Degree desirable; and Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
- Experience in Ambulatory surgical center required
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (R.N.)
- Must possess a strong clinical background with the ability to work independently
- 3-5 years’ experience in a Critical Care environment (ICU, CCU, ER)
- Experienced with moderate sedation
- ACLS/BLS certification required
