(Archived) Operating Room Registered Nurse
Job Description
Provenir Healthcare is currently looking for a Travel OR Registered Nurse.
Job Duties
- Performs scrub functions including the selection and handling of instruments and supplies used during procedure.
- Performs circulating functions including monitoring, recording and communicating patient condition and managing overall nursing care of patient before, during and after procedure.
- Care of the patient in the intra-operative phase of care. Strong patient advocate focused on patient safety and efficiency.
Schedule
Shifts will be 11:30am- 8:00pm alternating with 11:00am -7:30pm.
Work week Monday-Friday 8 hour shifts
10 or 12-hour shifts will be considered
***Start date target of 5/17***
Requirements
Shot records (Tdap, Varicella, Hep B series, MMR, Flu)
1 year of recent OR experience in an acute care setting (non-negotiable)
License to practice as a Registered Nurse in a compact state
BLS Certification from AHA
ACLS
Education
Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Preferred: Completion of or actively pursuing a BSN degree.
