We are seeking a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team full time to work at Glens Falls Hospital for a 13 week assignment!

The following shifts are available: 7:00am - 7:30pm (36hrs per week) or 7:00pm - 7:30am (36hrs per week).

The Medical Floor is a 46 bed Med-Surge unit with 4 Isolation rooms, 2 which are negative pressure rooms that house TB and Covid patients. This floor does not have telemetry. The Medical Floor has a general mix of patients; COPD, GI issues, ETOH, Dementia, Pneumonia, etc. Expectations of RNs along with other policies and procedures: Attend shift safety huddle, Multidisciplinary rounds on days, Bedside shift report, float to like floors, be positive! Staff must be fitted for an N95.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from a Registered Professional Nursing Program.
  • Current license and registration to practice Registered Professional Nursing in New York State.
  • BLS, ACLS and vent experience required.
