Description
Under the direct supervision of the surgeon and the general supervision the OR Manager, the Cardiovascular Perfusionist is responsible for the delivery of patient care by the use coronary bypass and/or re-perfusion. The Perfusionist also is responsible for supervision of equipment maintenance/upgrades and actively participates in the selection process for new equipment
Requirements
- Graduate of a coronary perfusion program, BSN preferred
- 3 years acute care preferred
- Certified Coronary Perfusionist (CCP) required
- BLS completed, ACLS preferred but optional
