About the Job
- Pay: $83.00-$104.00 ($3,495.24-$4,401.18 Gross Weekly Wages)
- 13 week Contract
- Great location!
- Monday-Friday with weekend rotation
- Shift Time: 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am (3/12 HR shifts)
- Start: December 5th, 2022
- Unit: Med Surge Tele

MINMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred.
- 2 years of Med Surg experience
Licenses and Certifications
- Current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers
- CA-RN (Registered Nurse)
- ACLS
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Able to communicate effectively in English
- EKG skills since we will have patients on monitor as well
Responsibilities
- Monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and maintaining patient records.
- Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs
- Adjust specialized medical equipment as needed, as well as interpret and record measurements
- Monitor patients’ vitals and report adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner
- Collaborate on discharge planning with the healthcare team
- Answer questions and educate patients and their families on surgical procedures and post-surgery care
- Maintain and update patient files, medical charts, and health records
- Adhere to best nursing practices, standards, and protocols
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in consultation with healthcare professionals
- Evaluating medical information, as well as providing direct and individualized bedside nursing care to pre and post-surgery patients
- Preparing, administering, and recording prescribed medications
