Job Description
Maximus is currently looking for a Registered Nurse Assessor to join our growing team. As a Nurse Assessor, you will conduct person-centered assessments in accordance with contract directives, company processes, and contract requirements.
*This is a remote position where you will be conducting telehealth assessments. You will be permitted to wok from your home office. The compensation for this position is $30 to $32 hourly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for completing long term care health assessments within contract requirements
- Conducts video call and/or telephonic assessments to determine an individual’s needs for services and supports, eligibility, level of care or related outcome
- Perform all job duties in compliance with Person First standards, HIPAA guidelines, and company confidentiality policies and procedures
- Travel may be required based on program contract requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge and understanding of medical and/or behavioral health diagnoses and prescribed medications
- Knowledge of community support programs, long-term care assessment and level of care in medical, behavioral health or related programs, preffered
- Ability to collect data, define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and meet timelines
Education and Experience Requirements:
- RN License in the state of Maine or hold a compact RN licensure
- One (1) year of clinical experience providing/exposed to long term care
