MedCare Staffing is seeking a Telemetry RN for a position in North Metro Dallas. This Hospital is a 796-bed tertiary care center that has been recognized for its state-of-the-art medical facilities and leading organ transplant program.
Job Summary:
The Telemetry RN manages the nursing care of critically ill patients in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. Perform direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act with emphasis on the cardiovascular service line. 36 bed HIGH-VOLUME UNIT; RN to Patient ratio is 1:4
Education:
BSN required within 24 months of hire
Licensure:
Current TX licensure as an RN or valid compact license
Current BLS Healthcare Provider (American Heart Association)
Current ACLS (American Heart Association)
Experience:
Must have a minimum of one year experience as an RN in a high acuity Telemetry Unit or Med-Surg 3+ years.
Acute care experience within the past 2-3 years required
BLS and ACLS
BSN required.
