JOB TITLE (#2036): Registered Nurse - Adult Care Facility Surveyor - New York, NY

A Review Company based in New York, NY, is seeking a Registered Nurse - Adult Care Facility Surveyor to conduct onsite surveys of Adult Care Facilities. This position is majority travel and will be working within New York's five boroughs and environs. Compensation and Benefits for the Registered Nurse - Adult Care Facility Surveyor:

  • The salary for this position is $80,000 - $85,000 per year.
  • This is a Full-time position
  • Mileage and accommodation reimbursements
  • Benefits are Competitive and Negotiable
Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Adult Care Facility Surveyor:
  • New York Licensed Registered Nurse
  • Graduate of an approved, registered professional nursing program
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, preferred
  • A minimum of one (1) year of survey experience
  • Must have a valid driver's license & the ability to travel to on-site facilities review assignments

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Adult Care Facility Surveyor:

  • Pre-opening Survey Inspections to determine compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Complete Inspection comprehensive surveys of resident rights, resident financial accounts, dietary/medication and case management activities, maintenance and compliance with sanitary and safety codes
  • Partial Inspections
  • Follow-up Inspections
  • Complaints Investigations inclusive of Adult Care Facilities operating without being licensed.
  • Superior investigative and analytical skills; proficient in conducting interviews with facility staff and residents
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to achieve customer satisfaction in difficult or controversial situations
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as in a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with facility staff and management
  • Computer proficiency with the ability to learn new programs
