Job Title (#6004) - Registered Nurse - Alamosa, CO

Provide nursing care to patients within an assigned unit or cross-trained unit and ability to document using electronic medical record

Compensation and Benefits for the Registered Nurse:

  • The starting salary for this position is $60,153.00 to $67,350.00 per year.
  • Permanent Full Time job. 0600-1800 & 1800-0600. The amount of shifts per week depend on the employees hired.

  • Shift Diff: Weekend Days +$4.00/Hr & Weekend Nights +$5/Hr

Requirements of the Registered Nurse:

  • Associates Degree in nursing required; Bachelors of Science in Nursing Preferred
  • Current RN license with State of Colorado Board of Nursing
  • BLS required; ALS, PALS required within 6 months of hire
  • Other certifications may be required within 6 months of hire
  • Fresh graduates are welcome.

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse:

  • Active and engaged participation in Nurse Residency Program
  • Response to all situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocols
  • Provide nursing care to patients within an assigned unit or cross-trained unit and ability to document using electronic medical record
  • Observes patients, recording significant conditions and reactions, and notifies provider of patient’s condition and response to drugs, treatments, and any change in patient’s condition
  • Other duties and educational requirements as assigned or required
