Job Description
Experience Wound Care Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of wound-related patient care that promotes the safety and well-being of all inpatients. The RN Wound Care Supervisor plans, directs, coordinates and evaluates the overall clinical practice including fiscal, material and human resource management. You will participate in the development of policies and procedures for the department. The Supervisor is actively involved in department activities, transdisciplinary team activities, and ensures individualized, patient-centered health care for all patient populations admitted to the Hospital.
Supervision: Supervises the functions and employees of inpatient Wound Care Services.
Experience: Two to five years experience working in wound care. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Education: An Associate’s degree in an approved Registered Nurse program and meaningful and appropriate experience. BSN preferred.
Licensure/Certification: WOCN or WCC or WOCNCB preferred. Must maintain current licensure and ACLS/BLS certifications while employed with the Hospitals.
