Your Role with the Company:

  • Provides direct patient care and facilitates the development and delivery of quality care for wound/ostomy/continence patients (under general supervision)

  • Collaborates with medical and nursing clinicians and operational personnel to improve clinical services in a cost-effective manner

  • Participates in the development and delivery of training for areas of specialty

  • Implements through a partnership with assigned areas, the pressure injury prevention program

Background Profile:

  • Associate Degree from an accredited School of Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required within 3 years

  • Preferred: 3 to 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse

  • Minimum of 1-year experience in the specialty area

  • Must have interpersonal skills appropriate to instruct patients and families, participate in formal and informal educational initiatives

  • Must have analytical skills appropriate to resolve complex patient care problems, and prepare comprehensive plans of care

  • Must have organizational skills in order to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Must be able to demonstrate skills in patient experience and service recovery.

  • Proficient in implementing effective nursing care and evaluating the outcome of nursing intervention

  • Preferred: Current specialty certification by the Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurses Certification Board

  • Current registration with the Maryland State Board of Examiners of Nurses as a Registered Nurse

  • Current “Healthcare Provider” CPR certification
