RN – Inpatient Nurse Manager Wound Care
Position Overview:
The Inpatient Wound Care Manager is responsible for planning and providing care for patients with complicated wounds, pressure ulcers, and/or any patient who has a potential skin care problem, in order to assist the patient in achieving a maximum level of wellness and independence. The Clinician will consult with other members of the health care team in the management of acute and chronic wounds, and will be actively involved in the management and prevention of pressure ulcers. This individual will supervise and educate clinical nurses to meet the skin care needs of the patients we serve. This position will have responsibility for ensuring quality of care for wound care patients and will be responsible for monitoring and enforcing clinical best practices for wound care.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2+ to 5 years experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- Valid WOCN
