MedCare Staffing is seeking an RN who has the passion for helping others to join a Burn Unit just south of Tampa on the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. This facility is a 383-bed, tertiary hospital and leading provider of quality, affordable healthcare. They offer a wide range of services including the area's only Trauma Center, 24-hour emergency care, open-heart surgery, cancer care, joint replacement, burn center and inpatient rehabilitation. This Medical Center has been named a nine-time "100 Top Hospital" and a "100 Top Cardiovascular Hospital" by Thompson Reuters, formerly known as Solucient. Our Internal Medicine Residency Training Program begin in July of 2016, allowing us to accept and teach resident physicians at our hospital.

Excellent care for burn patients start in emergency during the initial evaluation and go through the entire process of reconstructive surgery. Our Burn ICU Critical Care unit is a 6 bed unit. Patients Cases include: Burn, Decubitus/Flap Surgery, Grafts, Head/Neck/Hand Surgery, Revascularization, Plastics/Reconstruction, Digital Reattachments, Leech Therapy, and more. Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or ASN required, BSN preferred
• Current Florida State RN license or compact state RN license

• Current BLS Certification from the American Red Cross (HCA chosen provider) OR American Heart Association is required
• Current ACLS preferred; required within 6 months of hire
• Minimum one year RN experience preferred but not required
• Customer service abilities including effective listening skills. Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment
• Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds
