Job Description
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
Client is seeking a CRNA to help provide coverage for their team for ongoing weekend call coverage and per diem shifts. New providers will need to come in the day before scheduled call for orientation.
CRNA coverage needed:
***Weekend coverage will always be 3p Friday to 7a Monday***
***Daytime Shifts are 7A-3P***
Details:
• Both Inpatient and Outpatient
• Not required to remain on site for call
• Must be able to provide anesthesia within 30 minutes of a call
• Required to see patients of all ages
• Approx. # of Surgical Patients per month: 100
• Critical Care ICU Duties (Intubations & Cardioversions)
• Required to serve back up in ER (Only Airway Management)
• Must be able to work autonomously
• Procedures: MAC, General, Regional, and Pain Management
• BLS, ACLS, PALS/APLS Required
Hospital Information:
114-bed hospital
Emergency Department (15 beds)
21,000 patients per year
24 hour rotational shifts
Vidant Air and Vidant Ground Support to immediately transfer patients
