Job Details:
Our client, a large hospital in South Central VA, near the NC border, is in need of a Nurse Practitioner to join their team. This person will float between 2 urgent care clinics that are about 15 miles apart. At one clinic, you will be the sole provider and see approximately 20-30 patients a day. At the second location, there will be two providers and the clinic sees about 30-45 patients a day.
The Nurse Practitioner will provide a broad range of diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive services traditionally falling under the scope of nursing and medicine as defined within those clinical parameters.
Qualifications
Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner educational program accredited by the American Nurses Association, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Nurses Association of American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists or the American College of Nurse Midwives. Currently licensed as a RN in Virginia has met the licensure requirements as outlined by the Joint Boards of Nursing and Medicine for Virginia.
Minimum of one to two years of Nurse Practitioner experience in primary care office environment is required. Sorry, no new grads.
