Our healthcare client is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant to join their growing inpatient hospital organization and team!

Job Highlights include:

• 20-bed adult unit & 8-bed geripsych unit
• Continuum of services including ED consults, inpatient consults, and telepsych program
• Call 1:5 - weekends include i/p rounds, ED Triage/consults
• Must live within 45 min of hospital or stay in town for call duty

Responsibilities:
• Manages behavioral health patients with excellent care, attention, and education to enhance knowledge, skills and necessary to facilitate their future health.
• Opportunity for program development as we expand our services in primary care (collaborative care model) and tele-health.
• Promotes quality outcomes through effective planning and efficient utilization of healthcare resources.
• Collaborates with all professional health care employees and team members to provide the best care for the patients.
• Accountable for leadership of the hospital staff, delegating and coordinating tasks to achieve quality patient care.
• Communicates effectively with all patients and families with all appropriate health care information and instructions for improvement for quality of life.
Qualifications
• Masters degree as Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
• North Carolina NP or PA license
• Inpatient / outpatient hospital experience
• Professional demeanor, kind hearted, compassionate, loves to help their patients, listens to patients' health concerns, attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills.
