(Archived) Nurse Practitioner-Psychiatry in Connecticut

VISTA is working with a health and wellness center with clinics throughout the Hartford, CT area. There is an immediate need for an Adult Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for an employed, part-time or full-time position. A few details of the position:

* Open to new graduates with active CT licensure
* Board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, able to treat adult patients
* Flexible with days and length of shifts; Scheduled 1 day until 7pm; part-time 20 hours per week
* Part-time starting salary for a new graduate is $50K and $105K for full-time
* Serve clients ages 18+ in an outpatient setting with scheduled appointments and walk-ins
* Evaluations (60 minutes) or follow-up medication management (20-30 minutes)
* Psychiatric diagnoses such as mood disorders, psychotic disorders and substance use disorders
* Documentation is completed electronically concurrent in session
* Other staff include Director of Medical Services, front desk staff and medical assistants
* Licensed RN and Licensed APRN in the State of CT. Active DEA controlled substance registration and an active CT controlled substance license
