Job Description
Director of Long Term Care Nurse / DON:
Seeking an experienced nurse director of LTAC to join a fantastic team!
-Reports to Nursing Home Administrator and VP of Nursing
-Relocation assistance
-BSN required
-5 yrs exp required as DON LTC or LTC Clinical Supervisor
Ideal candidate: Experienced, able to hold team accountable for excellent resident care, documentation, compliance and attendance. Caring, knowledgeable of regulations.
Scope of role and responsibilities Responsible for 120 bed dually certified long term care center affiliated with an acute care hospital. Responsible for all aspects of nursing and MDS. Works with Administrator to assure compliance to state and federal regulations, staffing, quality and education. Responsible for about 95 FTE’s to include 4 Clinical Coordinators, LPN’s, C.N.A., and Unit Secretaries.
