Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - (CRNA) Locum Tenens

Beautiful location in North Carolina looking for 1 full time or part time CRNA starting in June 2017. This client will need a minimum of 3 month coverage with the option to extend. Schedule will be Monday-Friday, 8 hour days or Monday-Thursday 8 hour days. CRNA must pick up weeknight and weekend pager call at least 1 time a week and 1 weekend a month. Cases include MAC, General Surgery, and Regionals. This is a care team model, so the CRNA must be comfortable working supervised and/or autonomously (for call).

A certified registered nurse anesthetist (locum tenens) administers anesthesia in surgeries as required by, or in the absence of, an anesthesiologist physician. A CRNA will look at patient history in a preoperative setting in order to determine an optimal course of action, choosing the techniques and drugs that best suit the patient's unique physiology and medical history. During surgery, it is the CRNAs job to administer anesthesia and manage the patient's reactions accordingly.
