$68,000 to $75,000 depending on experience

Job Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse provides nursing services to clients in the home and accepts accountability for his/her nursing practice. The RN assesses the client’s health care needs and coordinates all services required for total case management.
Additional responsibilities for the Registered Nurse RN include:


Full Time and PRN Available
Assessment of client, family, and home environment.
Identifies problems, sets goals and establishes Plan of Care in consultation with client/family/physician.
Refers to other disciplines, as indicated and approved by the physician
Provides skilled nursing services in accordance with physician’s orders and agency policies/procedures. Performs within the limits of professional experience and educational background.
Initiates appropriate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures, as needed.
Evaluates effectiveness and outcomes of care on an ongoing basis.
Obtains and implements change in plan of care as ordered by the physician.
Instructs and supervises clients and their caregivers regarding nursing care.
Records and reports to the physician the client’s response to treatment and/or changes in the client’s condition. Reviews Plan of Care and updates no less than every 62 days.
Prepares clinical and progress notes, documenting client’s progress and response to nursing intervention and teaching while planning for client’s discharge from service.
Establishes the Home Health Aide plan of care. Supervises care given by the Home Health Aide every 14 days and instructs as needed. Delegates responsibilities, as necessary.
Maintains communication with other disciplines to coordinate treatment goals and to support objectives outlined in Plan of Care. Informs physician and other personnel of changes in client’s condition and needs, as warranted.
Participates in In-Services, Continuing Education programs, staff development activities and professional meeting.
Utilizes Universal Precautions.
Complies with the policies and procedures of Senior Link Home Care.
Reports to the CQI Supervisor.

Job Requirements
We are looking for dedicated and professional Registered Nurse RN who is committed to providing exceptional patient care and service. It is also important that you are highly organized and that you demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Specific qualifications for the Registered Nurse RN role include:

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
Current license from the State of Florida to practice as a Registered Nurse.
At least 1 year professional work experience as a Registered Nurse.
Licensed driver with insured automobile which is in good working condition.
Possesses current CPR certification.
Satisfactory references from prior or current employers and/or professional peers.
