Job Details:

Our client, a 250+ bed hospital in the Raleigh, NC area, has a need for a NIGHT shift L&D RN to join their team.

The Clinical Nurse is responsible for providing total comprehensive nursing to patients and their families through the implementation of a plan of care. The plan is based upon the patient's developmental and health care needs identified through the assessment of the patient's physical, psychological, socioeconomic status, and physician orders regarding care, treatment, and education. The Clinical Nurse understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission, values, and management of patient care services.

We have 10 beds, 2 ORs
Currently 2300 deliveries per year- estimated 2400 for upcoming 2017

Experience: One (1) year of recent clinical experience in a medical/surgical or critical care unit preferred.

Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required - or - current enrollment in an advanced education program through an approved educational institution where the nurse has passed NCLEX examination and end result of the program will be an advanced nursing degree (BSN/MSN). Candidate/Employee is required to complete the advanced education program as scheduled. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Applicable National Certification in Nursing preferred.

Licensure/Credentials: Current license as an RN or valid Status P (Petitioner) temporary license in State of North Carolina with no substantiated findings required. Status P indicates RN has applied for permanent NC license. ACLS , BLS , and NRP

Hours of Work 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
Weekend Requirements As Needed
Call Requirements as needed

$23.43--$37.50/hr.
Shift differentials:
$4.00 evenings- 2:30pm – 10:45pm
$6.00 nights -10:45pm- 7:15am
**weekends start Friday at 6:45pm and go to Monday 7:15am:
$12.00 days (weekends)
$16.25 nights (weekends)
