Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Job Summary:
The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN). CNAs assist patients with daily living activities, ensure comfort and safety, and help maintain a clean, supportive healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding

Measure and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration)

Help patients with mobility, including transferring, walking, and repositioning
-
Observe and report changes in patients’ physical or mental condition to nursing staff
-
Maintain patient hygiene and change bed linens as needed

Assist with basic medical procedures as directed by nursing staff
-
Ensure a clean, safe, and organized patient environment

Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
-
Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
-
Current CNA certification (state-specific)
-
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (preferred or required)
