Overview

Our Assistant Manager, Talent Acquisition will lead a team of Recruiters and Sourcers. The role ensures timely closure of requisitions within expected cost, time and quality metrics. S/He oversees daily activities to ensure effective candidate flow and process flow to meet or exceed screen and time to fill metrics. This role could hold a requisition load though usually smaller so that they can also assist in training new recruiters to the TA team, assisting with SLA compliance and being a mentor to the Talent Acquisition team.

Job Qualifications:

Education

High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s degree in human resources or closely related field from an accredited college or university preferred.

Experience

Minimum of four (4) years’ experience of direct recruitment experience. Supervisory experience desired. Previous experience recruiting for corrections or agency, RPO, Healthcare recruitment a plus.

Travel

Must be willing to travel as needed. Must be able to work remote or in local office as prescribed by direct supervisor

Licenses/Certifications

None required.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the current and future hire demand requirements of field operators and coordinates with other domains including Marketing, Screening and client's HR team to plan for timely delivery of new hires.
  • Supervisor will act as primary liaison partnering with recruiting team and field operators to identify process gaps, and collaborate formulate solutions.
  • Educate recruitment team and field operators on market conditions and sourcing trends.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting to stakeholders regarding progress on open requisitions.
  • Monitor and audit effective utilization of Applicant Tracking System to accurately capture candidate and requisition information and activity updates.
  • Will manage projects and new initiatives to enhance team performance and organizational growth.
  • Develop in-depth understanding of the employment market and its impact on field operators recruiting and sourcing strategy.
  • Stay current on competitor hiring practices and market trends through market intelligence gathering.
  • Work with other Marketing, Operations, and TA Managers on various topics such as process best practices and innovations, colleague development and engagement, and continuity of support to the business.
  • Work with the appropriate leadership team to assist with sourcing and ICIMS template usage.
  • Escalate situations as needed to bring to satisfactory closure and ensure proper follow-up.
  • The manager will ensure teams understand and adhere to all compliance and audit related requirements outlined in the statement of work for our field operators.
  • Manager will ensure team understands the current SLAs and the impacts of missing or meeting those targets and will take necessary performance steps as needed.
  • Must be able to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations.

· Assist with verifying licensures and credentials for nurses and other healthcare professionals when needed.

· Monitor special request offer letters and ensure competed accurately.

· Assist Recruiters with site communications and relationship building, coaching and fostering field relationships.

· Partner with TA Manager to oversee the scheduling of recruitment events and career fairs for all positions.

· Must be able to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations.

· Must be alert at all times; pay close attention to details.

· Must be able to work under stress on a regular or continuous basis.

· Perform other duties as assigned.
