(Archived) Patient Care Monitor - Full Time - Night Shift

PrimeCare Medical Inc. is seeking Patient Care Monitors to work full time on the Day shift in the medical department at Montgomery County Correctional Facility located in Eagleville, PA.

These will be full time positions working 12 hour shifts on the Night Shift. Currently we are offering a $1,000 sign on bonus for these full time positions! Patient Care Monitors will be responsible for monitoring patients who are residing on the facility’s medical housing unit.

Responsibilities and Duties:

The goals of this position include reducing patient self injury as well as monitoring patients for changes in behavior, food consumption, and actions related to self harm. The patient monitor duties will include:

- Knowledge of the facility suicide policy including differences between monitoring levels and expectations for each type of observation

- Ability to identify potential situations which may trigger behavioral outbursts and appropriately alerting facility staff to these concerns

- Demonstrates caring and compassion working with mentally ill patients

- Ability to work collaboratively with both mental health and nursing staff

- Ability to maintain professionalism

- Will continuously circle the housing unit monitoring patients.
