Job Description
- Position: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- Employment Type: Contract
- Duration: 13 Weeks
- Start Date: September 14, 2026
- Shift: 8-Hour Rotating Day/Evening Shifts
- Schedule: 40 Hours Per Week, Including Weekends
- Openings: 1
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and nursing staff with patient care and clinical procedures.
- Perform patient intake, vital signs, and routine assessments.
- Prepare examination rooms and maintain clinical supplies.
- Document patient information accurately in Cerner EMR.
- Support patient education and follow-up care activities.
- Adhere to facility policies, regulatory standards, and safety protocols.
- Maintain professional communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required.
- Minimum 4 years of Medical Assistant experience required.
- Active and current certification/license as applicable.
- Ability to work rotating day and evening shifts.
- Availability for weekend and holiday coverage.

- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS/BCLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- ATT

Additional Information
- Weekend scheduling requirements will be discussed during the interview process.
