Urgent Care Locum in Multiple Clinics in Missouri (MO) – Many BC qualify!

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Urgent Care Locum to work in coverage in Multiple Clinics in Missouri. Looking forward to starting as soon as credentialed. The role offers a competitive market rate and Locums benefit.

Welcoming all Board Certified/Eligible physicians (within 5 years of residency) in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds to join our state-of-the-art urgent care centers.

- Support team including medical assistants and radiology techs.

- Consistent scheduling opportunities with preference for blocks, weekends, and holidays

The Urgent Care Role(s):

• Scheduling: 12-hr shifts. No OT. Preference for availability for the weekends and holidays. 3-to 6-months availability.
• Census: All ages. Solo/Autonomous.
• EMR: EPIC
• Cases: Comfortable with urgent care procedures: sutures, wound care, incision and draining, splinting, x-rays, EKGs, drawing blood

Requirements of the Urgent Care role:

• MO state license; active, unrestricted.
• Proof/Case Logs: 50 patient encounters seen in the past 12 months.
• Case questioner to answer with presentation
• Board Certified (ABMS or AOB certified)/Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency).
• Travel and Accommodation – included.
• BLS (AHA only) and preference to additionally have ACLS and PALS.
