Position: Registration Specialist
Job Description:
Complete all steps of pre-registration/registration for the Emergency Department, identify/capture health insurance eligibility, facilitate appropriate billing of claims/hospital reimbursement, obtain and validate proper consent for patient treatment.
Educate patients/others on billing, payment options.
Work with various departments to ensure consistent financial documentation. Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registration Specialist
Ability to organize and prioritize assignments to work independently as well as a collaborative team member.
Possesses critical thinking, prioritization, and organizational skills.
Attention to detail and quality of work.
Basic computer literacy and arithmetic skills.
