Job Description
Position: Medical Biller & Enrollment Specialist
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-3:30pm
Job Description:
Coordinates all activities related to enrollment, billing, claims appeals.
Manages implementation and training for new users of Practice Express billing software
Provides customer support to doctors and office staff
Handles support tickets for Practice Express billing software
Resolves problems related to third party and self-pay collections
Communicates with clearinghouses regarding claim submission needs
Assists Practice Express users with weekly and monthly processing and reporting
Assist users with setup of patient and insurance codes
Insurance verification
All other duties as assigned by manager
Qualifications:
High School diploma
Current medical billing certification
3 years in medical office or revenue cycle management setting
Medical terminology in a medical billing environment
Plan and payer enrollment experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites
Knowledge of medical billing practices
