Job Description
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Salary Range: $128,012.65 – $166,416.45 per year (Commensurate with experience)
- Treatment Planning: Initiate and manage the full treatment planning process for external beam photon and proton therapy, ensuring the highest level of precision and patient safety.
- Special Procedures: Aid in specialized procedures and brachytherapy treatment planning as required.
- Clinical Leadership: Lead the training and professional development of dosimetry staff and clinical trainees in advanced planning techniques.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Physics and Oncology teams to refine protocols and implement new technologies.
- Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to BHSF safety and compliance programs, including OSHA, HIPAA, and the professional Code of Ethics.
- Education: Graduate of a Medical Dosimetry program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
- Certification: Active certification by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB) is required.
- Experience: Proven experience in complex treatment planning; prior experience in Proton Therapy is highly preferred for this senior-level role.
- Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in modern treatment planning systems (e.g., Eclipse, RayStation) and oncology information systems.
- Mentorship: Demonstrated ability to teach and communicate complex dosimetry concepts to diverse clinical groups.
