Senior Dosimetrist

• Treatment Planning: Initiate and manage the full treatment planning process for external beam photon and proton therapy, ensuring the highest level of precision and patient safety.
• Special Procedures: Aid in specialized procedures and brachytherapy treatment planning as required.
• Clinical Leadership: Lead the training and professional development of dosimetry staff and clinical trainees in advanced planning techniques.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Physics and Oncology teams to refine protocols and implement new technologies.
• Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to BHSF safety and compliance programs, including OSHA, HIPAA, and the professional Code of Ethics.

• Education: Graduate of a Medical Dosimetry program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
• Certification: Active certification by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB) is required.
• Experience: Proven experience in complex treatment planning; prior experience in Proton Therapy is highly preferred for this senior-level role.
• Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in modern treatment planning systems (e.g., Eclipse, RayStation) and oncology information systems.
• Mentorship: Demonstrated ability to teach and communicate complex dosimetry concepts to diverse clinical groups.
