Overview:
Our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) joins a mission-driven healthcare team dedicated to serving Veterans in Pittsburgh, PA. This role provides hands-on patient support, assistance with daily living activities, and contributes to a safe, structured care environment. The position offers consistent hours with opportunities for additional shifts and overtime.

Position Offers:

• Schedule: Consistent & Flexible full-time schedule;

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
• Support safe patient mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper techniques
• Obtain and document vital signs, weights, and intake/output
• Monitor patients for safety risks, including fall prevention and behavioral observation (sitter duties)
• Prepare and maintain patient care areas, ensuring cleanliness and infection control compliance
• Escort patients and assist clinical staff with procedures as needed
• Document care accurately and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
• Promote patient comfort, dignity, and overall quality of life

Qualifications:

• Active CNA certification (state or compact)
• Minimum 1 year of CNA experience in a healthcare setting
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in hospital, long-term care, or structured clinical environments preferred
• Prior experience in VA or federal facilities and patient observation (sitter duties) is a plus
