Job Description

Med 1 Providers is looking for a CNA for our client in Maine.

Position
A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) puts resident service first and ensures that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere, which recognizes the individual's needs and rights. Will work with a Licensed/Registered Nurse to directly impact the resident's quality of life through assisting with caregiving. Provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors
Qualifications

  • Must be a certified and/or be state tested Nursing Assistant in accordance with laws of the State of Maine
  • Requirements: * Successful completion of a state-approved CNA program and current certification required
  • Should be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.

Minimum Education/Certifications
  • Minimum of a high school education or high school equivalency diploma preferred
  • Successful completion of a state-approved CNA program and current certification required


Minimum Work Experience
  • Flexible with CNA experience but MUST be certified

Salary and Benefits
Salary: Salary starting $13.00Max $15.50 Based on years of experience
Shift Differentials: (Applies for 11-1/2 hours or longer shifts only not for an 8 hour shift) Nights $2.00 per hour Weekends $2.00 per hour Holiday - $2.00 per hour Call In - $2.00 per hour (Differentials can be stacked)
Benefits –Full benefits offered effective 1st of the month following 30 days of employment
  • Medical - 2 different plans ( Max cost is $162.00 per month based on plan you select)
  • Dental – Paid by employer
  • Vision– Paid by employer
  • 403B RETIREMENT PLAN: 5% RETURN ON ANY MONEY INVESTED IN 1ST SEVEN YEARS
  • PTO is accrued immediately and available to use after 90 days of employment
