This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity (not contract). ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for following the established plan of care provided by the RN while providing an exceptional experience and service to underserved seniors in the community Assists participants with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, hair care, mouth care, eating, hand and toileting as assigned or needed. Accurately documents all activities performed in a timely manner Actively monitors and documents participants health status, appetite, and weight changes, etc Follows all rules, regulations and guidelines given by agency and state Additional work duties and functions may be assigned REQUIRED PROFICIENCIES Current and valid state issued Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license Current First Aid and BLS certifications are required prior to hire - American Heart Associate and Red Cross are valid certifying agencies Valid, active driver's license in state of practice Personal, reliable transportation Current, active auto insurance with good driving record Minimum of 1 year of strong experience working with the elderly Must be willing to travel to participants homes within a 60 mile radius of site High School Diploma / GED or relevant work experience in lieu of education. Bilingual in Spanish a huge plus COMPENSATION and SCHEDULE: Pay starts at $18.85 per hour which includes benefits and PTO Monday - Friday, 7:30A - 4:30P Weekends a plus but not required NO on-call requirements
