CNA – Certified Nursing Assistant / Activity Assistant - CNA - Job 2055

Bi-lingual Spanish / English Required

PACE Port Charlotte, FL

PRN - Monday – Friday / Days - As needed

Job Summary The CNA position is an integral member of the dedicated inter-disciplinary team that provides important short term / long term care of our patients. The CNA works under the supervision of a registered nurse. They provide a high level of care for our patients in Hope PACE facilities.

  • Key Responsibilities
    • Perform all aspects of personal care & hygiene to patients according to policies / procedures
    • Assists with actives
    • Provide supportive care to patients and families
    • Adhere to written and oral instructions
  • Knowledge & Skills
    • Knowledge of basic meal preparation and feeding techniques
    • Excellent communication; via phone, in person and email
    • Attention to detail & ability to handle confidential information following HIPPA guidelines
  • Required qualifications
    • Bi-lingual Spanish / English required
    • High School Diploma or GED required
    • Florida Certified Nursing Assistant license
    • 1 year elder care work experience preferred
    • Home Health, hospice or activity experience desired
    • Be willing to travel to any PACE Center locations
    • Valid Florida Drivers’ License with good record
    • Automobile Insurance
    • Clear level 2 background check

Must be comfortable working with and around frail and elderly people.
